15 May FINDING THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD
A child goes to a sage and says master I will give you an orange if you tell me where God is, master says I will give you two if you tell me where God is not. Isiah 66:1a “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool”. If you cannot find God right now, right where you are then where else do you expect to find him? We need to understand that God is not in church, WE are the church, we MUST READ OUR BIBLE, you cannot understand or have an idea of your capacity, your potential, your purpose if you do not dwell on the manual, the maker has kept in the manual the instructions. The manual which is the bible is a blue print to finding the truth about God. This generation needs to understand that we cannot pick personality over principle and vice versa, we must do both, we must practice the personality of Jesus Christ which are the fruit of the spirit and we must practice the principles of Christ as well. Let us remember everyday “Christ consciousness and Christ conscience” this would help put our actions in check.
Finding the truth about God is a continuous action, the more we learn and feed on God’s word the more knowledge we get from understanding God’s original intensions. Lastly, we should not operate on outward appearance alone but the inward grace.
